This course is designed for an experienced Red Cross Instructor who desires to support Instructor Candidates during their final step in becoming a certified First Aid & CPR Instructor.
This is a 3 step process.Step 1: Skills Evaluation:
The instructor will have a skills assessment completed prior to the on line component.Step 2: On-Line Component:
This will review the process of how the Teaching Experience will run, including the expectations of the TES and how to support Instructor Candidate. Participants should schedule 8 hours for this and it must be completed prior to the classroom component.Step 3: In-Class Component:
This 7 hour segment will focus on activities to give the TES experience in guiding and supporting Instructor Candidates.
This is a one time certification and will be valid for as long as First Aid & CPR Instructor certification is valid.
